Welcome to Denver
An inspiring cosmopolitan center for art and dining
At the heart of a sprawling metro area, Denver is an urban hub that buzzes with life. It’s a city that inspires the best of artistry, from performance to culinary. Plus, with an average of 300 days of sunshine every year, residents can easily enjoy the city’s green spaces and take in views of the surrounding mountains.
Denver was founded as a gold mining town in 1858, the height of the Colorado Gold Rush. While the gold quickly dried up and miners moved on to the surrounding areas, Denver itself began to flourish. It was a hub of transportation and became the headquarters for many oil and gas companies after World War II.
It continues to thrive today, with a skyline full of skyscrapers and a booming job market. The residential areas grew steadily alongside the commercial areas, filling Denver with gorgeous neighborhoods full of beautiful single-family homes as well as luxurious condos and townhouses. Whether you’re looking to be in the heart of Downtown or in one of the surrounding neighborhoods, there is a perfect fit for you within the Denver city limits.
