Welcome to Westminster
A traditional suburban community surrounded by unspoiled beauty
Westminster is known for its unspoiled beauty and traditional suburban atmosphere. Sprawling across both Adams and Jefferson Counties, this suburb in the northern Denver metro is the perfect place for families seeking a welcoming and easy-going life with access to incredible amenities.
Westminster began as prairie and homesteaders, seeing spurts of growth thanks to the founding of Westminster College, which shuttered after World War II, and the success of the area’s apple orchards. Though there are no apple orchards left today, this once-agricultural hub is now known for its gorgeous nature and a thriving community.
Modern developments are popping up throughout Westminster, with beautiful single-family homes and luxury condos in mixed-use spaces. But the neighborhoods of Westminster range from more suburban areas, full of traditional homes, to rural beauty sprawling along the edges. Whether you want to be in the heart of the amenities or further from your neighbors, there is something for everyone in Westminster.
