Welcome to Littleton
A lively Denver suburb full of enchanting moments
Winding through the tree-lined streets of Littleton, the lively and enchanting atmosphere permeates this community. It’s a small suburb of Denver, and it is consistently rated as one of the best places to live in the country. It’s a fresh take on small-town living, thanks to the many restaurants and shops in its historic downtown and the community events and exciting entertainment and festivals.
Like many communities in the area, the beginning of the Littleton we know today can be traced back to the Pike’s Peak Gold Rush. The community relied on agriculture, then turned to the manufacturing of things like electronics and munitions. This manufacturing boom brought a surge in housing with it and Littleton grew substantially throughout the 20th Century.
Most of Littleton’s homes were built before 1980, thanks to a huge boom in housing and economic growth that happened throughout the 1970s. Many of the residences here are beautiful single-family homes that line residential streets. However, there have been a number of condos springing up for those who’d like to live closer to the quaint downtown area. As well as several areas of new builds from Sterling Ranch, Silver Leaf to Columbine Valley.
